Role Overview:

We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Java Backend Project Lead to join our dynamic team in Noida, India. This role will be responsible for leading backend development projects, shaping technical solutions based on US client requirements, managing technical teams, and ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of software products.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership: Lead Java backend development efforts, providing technical guidance, mentoring developers, and ensuring adherence to best practices.

Project Management: Plan, manage, and deliver backend development projects aligned with US client requirements, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery.

Solution Design: Collaborate closely with US-based stakeholders, product owners, designers, and frontend teams to architect scalable, secure, and high-performance backend solutions.

Code Quality & Reviews: Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure the overall quality of backend deliverables.

Agile Practices: Drive agile software development methodologies, participating actively in planning, estimation, sprint management, and retrospectives.

Client Communication: Act as a technical liaison for the client, clearly communicating complex technical concepts and project status updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Experience: Minimum 6-10 years of experience in Java backend development, with at least 2 years in a technical lead or senior developer role.

Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Leadership: Proven experience leading technical teams, mentoring junior developers, and driving technical decisions.

Client-Facing Skills: Experience collaborating effectively with international clients, particularly US-based stakeholders.

Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English.

Tools & Methodologies: Proficient with Agile methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines).

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Agile methodologies, Java/Spring frameworks, or cloud platforms.

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Understanding of frontend technologies (Angular, React, Vue.js), to collaborate effectively with full-stack teams.

Experience developing and maintaining scalable backend architectures in a distributed environment.
